Meet the Owner

Hello, my name is Lisa, and thank you for visiting Goat Head Farms. We are a family-run, sustainable flower farm serving local and regional customers with fresh-cut bouquets grown with care for the land.

I grew up in a small, rural-feeling community at the base of Mt. Diablo in the San Francisco Bay Area, where my appreciation for the outdoors started early. Much of my childhood was spent outside—exploring the mountain in search of frogs and lizards, or riding bikes through town with friends. That connection to nature stayed with me as I grew older.

When my husband and I had the opportunity to purchase property in the open countryside outside of Wheatland, California, we knew it was the right place to put down roots and raise our family. With a deep respect for the land and a strong sense of environmental stewardship, we’ve made sustainable land management a core family value.

Over the years, we’ve grown our own food, raised various animals, and learned how to work with the land rather than against it. Goat Head Farms is a reflection of that philosophy—thoughtfully grown flowers, rooted in sustainability, family, and a genuine love for the natural world.
